Aditya,

I think you have to think "protocol".  It's not hard to write your own protocol - after all, it only has to work for you.  

As I've said to you privately, I can't believe you're being expected to use RPC and stuff - unless you're on a very high level course: and if you're on such a course, you certainly don't need help from the likes of me!!

As others have said, it's hard to go any further than this without your professor letting us know how much help you're entitled to.
