FWIW, I've been to numerous conferences where this has been done and has
worked flawlessly.

Nice looking bid document too! I think it'd be great to return to
Hobart, I know several people who experienced their first LCA in Hobart
back in 2009 and quickly became hooked.

I've experienced Wrest Point a few times myself, and it is nicely
separated between convention center and any gaming areas, and you can
even walk from a hotel room to the covention center only passing a
rather unremarkable door into a gaming area IIRC.

and just in case anybody is wondering... there totally should be a 2
meter tall farm bar expedition at one of the ends of the conference.
