Hi everyone,

I just wanted to follow up on my grant request. I'm hoping I've answered the
main questions about it and want to make sure I haven't missed anyone.

The main reason we'd like to request this particular set of equipment is that
it suits our circumstances. We have a useful high-speed connection to the
internet and to mirror.linux.org.au in the room, so we don't need the specific
elements of Tim Ansell's system that get an internet connection anywhere.
We'd prefer to get better quality than a webcam, and we'd like to use some of
the equipment that LCA uses to combine the screen of the presenter with the
video camera. However, we don't want a full LCA-style kit as we do still want
to be relatively easy to set up and pack down. I feel Steve and I have tried
to pick a 'best compromise' from the various possibilities of gear.

If there's specific areas where you think we should compromise, then please
let me know.

Obviously we'll also be trying to use some of Tim, Ryan and other's great
ideas to make this system work, so any feedback and suggestions are also
welcome :-)

Thanks in advance,

Paul
