[Linux-aus] LA grant application

Hi Nathan,

FOMS is mostly a workshop/conference where there are short
presentations, long discussions, and long bug fixing/feature
development sessions happening.

We will have one or two cameras at FOMS to record talks, but it may
well be that Holger's talk is only addressing issues on Linux that
don't work in order to point them out to other developers.

Thus I assume that the talk that you were referring is a talk at SLUG.
This has not been confirmed yet. But I have had brief chats with some
committee members in SLUG and there is the possibility to reserve a
talk slot for Holger.

In this case, Holger's talk will definately be recorded and I will
personally make sure that it gets published. Also, if you have any
contacts at the named universities that we should invite to this talk,
I'm more than happy to send the invitations. I will try and locate the
relevant people in the areas that you pointed out.

Regards,
Slvia.
