The conference will be good in the long terms for the Australian Linux
community, which is in the charter. Plus part of the goal of LA is to run an
excellent LCA. The only other choices for that year were not sufficiently
organised to run an awesome LCA, so the decision was the best all round. IT
also gets Aussies off their bums to run it in Australia again.
