Big difference between having a capable organising team, and attracting an
audience. :-)

But it was widely accepted when the decision was announced. It's certainly a
wacky idea, holding LCA in NZ, but it was wacky enough for the majority of
the audience on this list to say, "Eh, alright then, let's see if the sheep
can pull it off!" No major dramas, proposal accepted, and away we go.
Plus, only two people have strongly questioned or opposed the idea - you and
Bret. :-)
