Just to put the PLUG side of this issue to rest: It's now on the list
for things for the new committee to consider. So the new committee
will give it, and any alternatives due consideration at their first
meeting (see Patrick Coleman's earlier post).

(BTW, at least 2 of the 4 current PLUG executive committee are
currently subscribed to the this list.)
