I don't think a lawyer would agree.  I certainly don't.   This is a
major error of fact, and not one I would expect to see in a quality
publication.  The editor can be contacted at:

Minor in a different way; ie. a major error of fact, but it doesn't really affect the main message of the article. It's also an often made error by ill-informed journalists; we can't be too harsh on them :)
