The Geoscience Database Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day  
coordination of the organisation’s
geoscientific data validation program, ensuring the provision of quality  
geoscientific data through its online systems. They champion the use of  
innovative technologies to achieve the strategic objectives of efficient work  
practices and interoperable systems that support the dissemination of quality  
geoscientific data.

- Solid working experience in the exploration and mining industry,  
specifically working with exploration and
mining data.
- Well-developed skills in the administration of geological databases,  
including relational data modelling and
implementing quality control workflows.
- Experience in writing and using SQL scripts and ETL processes.
- Experience in supervising contractors.
