compromise on your proven ability to write impressive Python Code. You will  
have direct contact with clients and users so you will need to be a confident  
communicator who is able to build rapport with customers, determining and  
then addressing their requirements. Whether working independently or as part  
of a team, you are hell bent on delivering outstanding results for our  
clients.

Required skills and experience:

     A commitment to open source

     Substantial Python/Django experience that you can demonstrate and/or  
reference, which must be in an open source or other non-academic context

     Strong general software engineering skills

     Good working knowledge of HTML/CSS

Skills and experience that we value and might encourage us to place you in a  
more senior role:

     Good working knowledge of JavaScript (ideally jQuery)

     Good knowledge of GNU/Linux

     Experience with HTML5

     Relational database experience, using SQL (ideally PostgreSQL)

     Experience with continuous integration and automated testing

     Experience with designing and implementing system architectures

     Experience working on large and mission-critical systems

     Experience with providing technical leadership

     Experience with other programming languages, particularly Perl, Java, or  
Hadoop
