linux cluster system developer, Contract

CSIRO internship position available for a linux based cluster development and adminstration. We are seeking a final year or graduate student: BEng computer systems engineering, BEng software engineering or  BSc computer science. Our lab has a number of research scientists, post-docs, PhD and honours students focussed on research in medical image processing. The student will be expected to contribute to the setting up and evaluation of a small linux cluster that will be used as a platform for image analysis.
essential skills: unix and C++ 
desirable skills: unix systems engineering, grid computing, parallel programming.
