BigWorld Pty Ltd develops an award winning technology suite for creating Massively Multiplayer Online Games, and we 

are seeking a young and enthusiastic IT person with a strong technical mind to administer our internal network.  In 

this varied role you will have responsibility for maintaining and improving our small Linux and Windows mixed 

network used by our developers, and providing them with support with their software and hardware issues.<br>

<b>Responsibilities:</b>
You will need to be able to set up PCs, install hardware and software, administer all aspects of a network 

including firewalls, SSL and ftp, email, backup and recovery processes and web connectivity. Most are Linux 

systems, with some Windows development boxes.

As a member of a tight knit team of world-class software developers, you will also help set up and test machines 

for tradeshows where we showcase our BigWorld Technology, as well as a Linux based server cluster for larger scale 

internal testing.<br>
<b>Requirements:</b><ul><li>2 years minimum with administering a Linux / Windows network. 
<li>Strong communication skills and a strong team player 
<li>Excellent time management and an ability to deliver on deadlines with multiple tasks
<li>Ability to troubleshoot and solve all day to day issues associated with the Network, Internet Link, PCs, 

Printers
<li>Must be self-motivated and able to work successfully without direct supervision
</ul><b>Desirable:</b>
<ul><li>Some scripting or programming experience
<li>Knowledge of cvs, bugzilla, Microsoft Office etc.
<li>Ability to investigate, recommend and install other Linux based productivity and open source tools and 

applications.
<li>Plays computer / console games
</ul>
<b>Salary:</b> $45-$65k depending on ability and experience<br><br>
