Linux consultant, Part Time

This is a Linux consulting position where you will be in charge of setting up and managing Linux servers of our clients around Sydney.


Essential skills include:

Good understanding of TCP/IP - subnets, routing

Competent in using iptables

Competent in moving around Linux - filesystems, modules, device configuration

Able to set up and manage Apache, Squid, BIND, Cron, Postfix/Qmail/Sendmail


Other requirements:

Drivers license

Good communication skills


A full-time position may be offered if you have got (at least maybe half of) these additional skills:

Citrix, Windows 2005 Server + SBS, Exchange, FileMaker


** Experience is NOT a requirement but certainly an advantage. You must be able to demonstrate your skills on-the-spot in an interview.
