<H1>Description</H1>

We require an experience systems administrator, who has experience with Linux and network environments.

<H2>Roles & Responsibilities</H2>

<H3>Primary</H3>
<UL>
<LI>Day-to-day operations of our systems and platforms</LI>
<LI>Providing recommendations and reports to the Operations Manager</LI>
<LI>Maintaining core network and systems components within a defined change control environment</LI>
<LI>Mentoring of the Junior Systems Operations staff</LI>
<LI>Performing system operations tasks as set by the Operations Manager</LI>
<LI>Rotating 24x7 on-call operations support</LI>
</UL>

<H3>Secondary</H3>
<UL>
<LI>Assisting the Operations Manager in the analysis, specification, resource planning and subsequent implementation of various systems development projects</LI>
<LI>Assist the Support Department in the timely resolution of Platform Support issues</LI>
<LI>Assist the Development Department in the acquistion of data for Platform Support issues</LI>
</UL>

<H2>Skills &amp; Experience</H2>

<H3>Required</H3>
<UL>
<LI>4 years experience as a UNIX/Linux Systems Administrator</LI>
<LI> Shell scripting: Bash, Perl, PHP, Python, etc...</LI>
<LI>Experience in managing and maintaing internet based services on a Linux platform: SMTP, HTTP, JSP, Radius</LI>
</UL>

<H3>Desired</H3>
<UL>
<LI>Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business Systems, Engineering</LI>
<LI>Development experience with a procedural programming language: C/C++, Java</LI>
<LI>Networking experience</LI>
<LI>Experience using trouble ticketing systems, such as Jira</LI>
<LI>Experience using Wiki based documenting, such as Confluence</LI>
