My understanding is that OSX will not run as-is under VMware and that the legality of 
getting it to run under VMware is questionable at best. Also the articles I have read all
suggest that this would not be a suitable solution due to its poor graphical performance.

Virtualization is a great tool, but in this situation there is nothing that is going to
compare with testing on the real hardware.
