Hello everyone!

A time-sensitive reminder that our *CFP closes in just over 12 hours time. Submit your talks by the end of 29 March, Anywhere on Earth *(thats late Monday evening around Australia & New Zealand).

All the information you need is at https://2026.pycon.org.au/cfp including our anonymity guidelines, specialist tracks, academic proceedings and FAQs. You’ll get an email confirmation once your talk is ‘submited’.

Additionally, if travel across Australia is cost prohibitive for you to attend the conference this year, consider applying for financial assistance <https://2026.pycon.org.au/attend/financial-assistance> alongside your CFP submission.

We warmly invite all talks that are relevant to people who use Python, and that includes talks from first time speakers who might have been inspired by attending a previous PyCon AU. Speaking at a conference like PyCon AU is also a great addition to your CV!

*Oh, and remember that **proposals accepted to the conference also get a complimentary ticket as well!*

Don’t miss out, submit now and edit your proposals right up until the deadline.

Cheers,
Jack

*P.S. We’re still investigating deliverability challenges with the mailing list and thank you for your patience. If you get this email, please pass it on to a friend or colleague to help us get the word out.*
