Hey,

I sent this through to Josh Hesketh, and he thought it would be of great
interest to the members of Linux Australia. Susanne and myself following
linux.conf.au 2010 have been up to various things, and this is the most recent
project we've worked on:

Last week the Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand launched their Internet
Rights and Freedoms Bill!

While not directly relevant to Australia, it is an area of growing interest
world wide and we believe that the Bill which has been written should be
a great example for other countries to follow.

Another reason that this may be of interest is that this Bill will now be
crowd sourced. This is the first Bill to be crowd sourced in New Zealand,
and will give all New Zealanders a chance to influence the final draft of the
Bill.

If you know of anyone else who might be interested in the Bill, then please
feel free to forward this email on to them.

any questions about the Bill.
