[Linux-aus] Minute updates

Here's a suggestion from the peanut gallery, a standard agenda:

1. Welcome

2. Apologies

3. Minutes of Last Meeting

4. Business Arising

5. Other stuff

If you keep to items 1-4:

1. You stay polite

2. You give committee members, invited guests etc to apologise for last minute/known absences

3. You sort of force someone to take the minutes PLUS this is standard practice (an organisation that handles as much money as Linux Australia Inc. who can't keep good records of minutes is unknowable in this day and age especially when the meetings are generally taking in an electronic format where ALL the conversation is recorded - you could even just claim the whole recoding by "the secretary were minutes" as opposed to have none)

4. Reminds you that minutes might have actionable items

5. Self explanatory

I know we all like to think we're open source and new age and have the Interwebs and stuff but seriously, this is basic stuff. It's already been done before...including the forgetting to do it (so don't all think too badly of yourselves - it's a volunteer organisation taking care of a few hundred thousand or more per year; there's no scope for things to go wrong here,)

I've started to dig out what minutes I can and posted them on the linux.org.au website. For those interested please follow the links below.
