[ I'm not being critical here. God knows I've written my share
of "carefully worded statements" in my time. ]

I go to linux.org.au, click "about linux and open source" and
I get some angels-on-the-head-of-a-pin eyes-glaze-over explanation
of the internicine warfare between Linux, GNU/Linux, free software
and open source software. Don't even get a download link, despite
that being the first step we'd like people to take.

Not engaging, not motivating. Comparison to Firefox and OOo
websites interesting.

I quite like Jeff's idea of "why I like FOSS" as a hook to drag
people in. Although unlike Jeff I would limit it to "Linux"
(in the distribution sense, not in the kernel sense: I don't love
Linux because of its CPU scheduler, although I do appreciate it).

My 2c, probably best ignored,
