Tickets for linux.conf.au selling fast!

Australia's premier open source event, linux.conf.au, has closed early
bird registrations and is on track to selling out, with 2/3 of the
tickets already sold.

Each year software developers and users flock from around the globe to
attend Linux.conf.au, Australia's annual technical conference about Free
and Open Source Software.

"Based on the registrations so far, tickets could sell out prior to the
event," said Conference Director Donna Benjamin. "We have a hard limit
of 500 tickets this year."

LCA returns to its hometown of Melbourne in 2008, running from January
28 to February 2 at the University of Melbourne.

Attendees are invited to register online at
http://linux.conf.au/register. More information on the conference can be
found at: http://linux.conf.au/

different fields presenting on the Linux kernel, the X Window System,
media, applications, desktop, law, security and usability.
