[Linux-aus] Liaison with LUGs: who is your rep?

Hi All,

One of the topics discussed at the last committee meeting was how Linux
Australia can work better with local Linux User Groups.

To make sure local groups get direct access to LA, each committee member
has been assigned a region for which they are the nominated LUG contact
person. It will be the responsibility of each committee member to
maintain contact with LUGs in their region and to make themselves
available if there are any questions, concerns etc.

Stewart is about to put the list of representatives up on the LA site
along with contact details, but in the meantime they are:

 Jonathan Oxer:    ACT/Tas
 Pia Smith:        NSW/NT
 Anthony Towns:    Qld
 Mark Tearle:      WA
 Geoffrey Bennett: SA
 Andrew Cowie:     NSW
 Stuart Smith:     Vic

So if you're involved with a local LUG and have any questions for LA, or
if you're looking for a local LUG, the people above are your first port
of call.
