Hmmm, Brendan Nelson may have cruelled that particular facility.

This isn't a criticism, since all proposals are based upon university
campuses.  More a warning to organisers that you can't rely on any
of the union/association facilities.  I've seen the working budgets
for UTS's and Macquarie's unions and it isn't pretty.


For all of the proposals it would be interesting to know to what
extent the university is supporting the conference.  Are we
merely paying them for facilites (which carries a risk of
undiscovered costs; such as bonds, security, cleaning) or is
the univerity more actively engaged?
