Strikes me that OOo could also provide a nice interface for GnuPG
which would
be platform independant. Windows user types in text of email into OOo,
selects "encrypt and sign", or just "sign", and cut & pastes
ciphertext into
Eudora, etc (and visa versa) ? Not elegant, but functional.
I agree. the nice thing about using GnuPG is that it is already being
used for multiple communications.
Recently we moved to using Jabber internally to our business and I have
discovered that I can actually sign and/or encrypt messages with GnuPG,
not counting the fact that it is also SSL connections.
The niceness of using GnuPG is that you already have the trusted
relationships in place, it is not having to start again from scratch
each time.
