Er, was this _intended_ to be self-illustrating?

I say again, if spam bothers you, filter it out at your own end, or quit the 
list.

I personally favour members-only posting (and we have committee@ if you really 
do feel the urge to spam), but not strongly enough to argue about it with 
anybody. Your invective levels are already soaring, and your argument reminds 
me of Arnaud Amaury's approach to the problem of heresy at Beziers. Please do 
settle down...
