Hi Sam,

I wanted to forward these comments to you, as we would all like to help
with any future pieces you do concerning the Linux Community in
Australia. We hope that in future we can provide a more coordinated
response, and that you in turn can take advantage of the mechanisms in
place to contact the community, such as committee email addresses and
Linux Australia.

To reiterate, Linux Australia would certainly be happy to help you, but
to get real information and feedback from the community we'd probably
need 4 days lead time. At least given that time we can get a good
response from the community as a whole. Including a weekend preferably.

Having seen your response to Leons letter, thankyou for your
professionalism in the mistake made. Hopefully this will restore your
faith that the community cares about such matters and is willing to tell
their story. There simply lacked the mechanism to get in contact with
the community easily. This served to teach some LUGs to improve their
contacts page, and to show Linux Australia that we can be quite useful
as a hub for information for the LUGs.

Please feel free to contact us with any queries, and we look forward to
working with you in the future.

Regards,
Pia Smith
