(michael at bevilacqua) $ gpg -r "User ID" -e filename

...will encrypt your message as filename.gpg

(michael at bevilacqua) $ gpg --decrypt filename.gpg

...will decrypt filename.gpg

(michael at bevilacqua) $ man gpg

...will give you more on this
