This is a close enough to existing LUGs. However, it's worth pointing out
that Linux Australia is simply not big enough to merit this kind of
bureaucracy.

Bush fire brigades, surf life-savers, and other organisations that have
groups in every town or every few km along the beach need this much
infrastructure. LA doesn't (at the moment - but world domination is nigh),
and even then, a loose coalition feels a lot more attractive and casual to
me than a big thumping org with a massive infrastructure and communication
problems. :-)
