[Linux-aus] isn't it time to use a spam filter for this list?

Who is administering this mailing list?

Why are non-subscribers allowed to post to it?

Why aren't anti-spam (and anti-virus) mechanisms being used?

Do I have to unsubscribe to stop the crap that has been coming from
this mailing list?

If I do unsubscribe, it probably won't be any great loss... this
list appears to be dead anyway.

So whoever has the ability - can you either reconfigure how it
works, or kill and bury it. Or at the very least please remove me
from the subscribers list. Thanx.
