Nope, the JRE and SDK are on the last disk ("Multimedia and Office
Applications") of the RH 8.0 Professional boxed set. The screwy thing is
that the installation instructions in the README don't work, as the file
you're supposed to run doesn't have execute permissions turned on (and it's
hard to chmod +x on a RO filesystem <g>).

Save yourself the hassle and download a slightly later version from
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.1/download.html
