Hi Avery,

Do you still have that newer PC sitting in the corner gathering dust?
You could take the harddrive out of that and put it in your linux PC?

I'm not sure if you have a budget for a second hard drive, but to give
you an idea of cost, larger capacity drives cost around $2 per gigabyte
at the moment (Eg. Seagate 80GB for $160), and smaller capacity drives
can be had second hand for $20-$30 that would allow you to keep the
applications you need without having to ditch all that valuable
software.

Eg. 3.2GB for $29
