Hello, 

Yes, I am interested in monitoring systems and was wondering when the mailing list would be started. 

As an intro: 
We use Nagios + PNP4Nagios + NagisQL at work currently, with a number of nagios servers sending results back to a central one, nsca, nrpe, etc etc. It works, but is painful. I am also familiar with Hyperic, and have played with Zabbix, ZenOSS, Observium, Nmon, Amazon CloudWatch 

Currently looking at: StatsD/Graphite, logstash, diamond, collectd
