[LCP] Basic pointer question [was empty subject]

I don't think they are telling you go go elsewhere, I think they are just
saying at least do a small amount of research before posting to this
or anyother mailing list.

A good post would say something like:

this is my quiestion...this is what I've tried...this is where I'm at...
