Fair enough.

I don't think technology development is dominated by 
commercial/proprietary
interests, certainly not in this country anyway.

Not being any sort of expert in governance of the internet, I withdraw
any objection. If there are lot's of people interested in it then it's
appropriate for somebody to take on that role.
