James Turnbull asked me for three quotes, so here's what I've got:

Replicat (Sydney):

All CDs in paper sleeve with clear plastic front.

20K CDs: 45c / CD = $9,000 + $300 for delivery + GST = $10,230
40K CDs: 44c / CD = $17,600 + $600 for delivery + GST = $20,020
60K CDs: 41c / CD = $24,600 + $900 for delivery + GST = $28,050

Silvertrak (Canberra)

All CDs on spindles; clear plastic sleeves are 15c / CD; all higher quantities
at that cost.

10K CDs: 43c / CD = $4,300 + GST = $4,730.  Delivery separate.

MultipliCD (Melbourne):

All CDs in paper sleeve with clear plastic front.  Delivery separate.

7 weeks turn-around:

30K and up CDs: 29c / CD = $8,700 + GST = $9,570

2 weeks turn-around:

30K CDs: 36c / CD = $10,800 + GST = $11,880
40K CDs: 35c / CD = $14,000 + GST = $15,400
50K CDs: 34c / CD = $17,000 + GST = $18,700

Sridar has also dealt with Media Movers in Sydney that is happy to form a
business relationship in future and would give us a good price in return for
having their logo on the CDs.  Their price to print 1000 CDs was $650 for CDs
in a plastic sleeve.  Sridar, can you get us prices for the range of volumes
we're talking about above, preferably printed locally and in paper envelopes?
