Currently they are updated by the LUG sending me an email and I update
the information. This is a stop gap measure until an iCal import is
built.

See above, the ideal situation would be for the site to pull in existing
iCal feeds. Needs some development so this is just to get the ball
rolling.
The reason why I'm putting the various LUG meetings into the Calendar is
that it provides a centralised place for people to look to see what's
on. Not only that but it goes some way (not all the way) to helping in
the sharing of information between LUGs, along the lines of "Hmm SLUG's
doing that this month, looks like a cool topic, why don't we cover it".
