Hi,
Before we all start going down a rat-hole on this, let's be sure that we know
what the LSB is all about.
It is a specification of a binary interface for applications to run on. As long
as your distribution passes a series of tests, you can call it "LSB V2.0
compliant" and hopefully applications that are also compliant will work on top
of it.
This does NOT mean that there is only one distribution, or only one kernel
or only one anything. Just that there is binary compatability between
distributions of a given architecture.
