Systems Administrator - Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and Melbourne

*	Assist the Squiz Account Team advising clients on web infrastructure
and upgrades

Squiz is now looking for a confident individual with a deep understanding
and applied knowledge across a broad range of web systems. In order to be a
successful applicant in this role, you will need the following
skills/attributes:

*	Linux (Debian and RedHat Enterprise Linux) Administration Experience
*	Database administration experience, including MySQL and PostgreSQL
*	Experience configuring and maintaining Apache and Squid
*	LDAP/Active Directory experience
*	Knowledge of IPTable firewalls
*	Understanding of caching, load balancing, and high availability
*	A strong knowledge of system, network and web security protocols.
*	A "can-do" ability to proactively identify and resolve potential
problems
*	Enjoy working on numerous concurrent projects autonomously and as
part of a team.


The following skills/experience are desirable, but not essential:

*	Windows Administration Experience
*	Experience with Shell scripting
*	Programming experience (eg, PHP, Perl, Python and/or C)
*	Solaris / Oracle experience
