Environment:  small team environment

Duties:

- coding and testing
- assist in design and specification
- maintenance of existing programs
- technical documentation

Technical skills:

- Python development in a Linux environment

Highly desirable - knowledge of/experience in:

- web server/network programming
- SQL/databases
- linux-based file systems

Also desirable:

- C/C++, Ruby, shell script

Qualities:

- smart, enthusiastic, self motivated & keen to learn
- team player
- excellent oral and written communication skills

- interest in web 2.0 technologies
