Senior/not-Senior Software Eng, Full Time

This position is targetted towards Unix/Linux developers who have some Windows experience. This is the reverse of the previous position listed by us (ref 636)

This role involves both Application and System level development for a range of Linux, Unix and Windows platforms.

The successful applicant is expected to have >3 years Unix/Linux experience and won't mind developing on Windows as well.

C and C++ is required, Perl is beneficial but not essential.
Good communication skills are required - written and especially verbal.
You must be self-disciplined, pro-active, and a quick learner.

The position primarily involves maintaining and enhancing our PROGNOSIS product (www.prognosis.com) on Unix/Linux platforms, with some exposure to Windows. Coding will be at varying levels, from kernel module development, to system programming dealing with system performance, up to application integration with 3rdparty software such as Oracle, DB2, Informix and MQSeries. The position will involve exposure to all areas.

Possible salary >$100K negotiable depending on experience.
