Senior/not-Senior Software Eng, Full Time

This position is targetted towards Windows developers who have some Linux experience, or who wish to gain Linux experience.

This role involves both Application and System level development for a range of Linux, Unix and Windows platforms.

The successful applicant is expected to have >3 years Windows experience and wishes to either develop, or learn to develop, on Linux and Unix systems as well.

C and C++ is required, Perl is beneficial but not essential.
Linux/Unix experience is beneficial but not essential - learn on the job.
Good communication skills are required - written and especially verbal.
You must be self-disciplined, pro-active, and a quick learner.

The position primarily involves maintaining and enhancing our PROGNOSIS product (www.prognosis.com) on Windows platforms, with some exposure to Linux/Unix. Coding will be at varying levels, from kernel module development, to system programming dealing with system performance, up to application integration with 3rdparty software such as Oracle, DB2, Informix and MQSeries. The position will involve exposure to all areas.

Possible salary >$100K negotiable depending on experience.
