Technical Support Role, Full Time

 This role covers Desktop, Email and Telephone Support for a fashion company in the Hills District. You will be working directly with one experienced support technician to ensure the IT infrastructure of the company runs in a smooth fashion, be responsible for reporting back to our development team bugs related to our inhouse software and for providing email and telephone support to our external consultants in a timely manner. In addition to this you will be exposed to a wide variety of projects, both internal and opensource, and be encouraged to participate and contribute to their evaluation and implementation.

The following skills are essential.

    * Experience with MS operating systems (98 and XP)
    * Experience with MS Excel
    * Building and Maintaining PC Hardware
    * Proven Troubleshooting skills
    * Good written and verbal communication skill
    * QA experience
    * Experience with opensource software and operating systems 


Experience with any of the following is highly favourable

    * VBA
    * Scripting - bash/perl/NSIS/etc
    * Windows 2000 Server
    * Linux
    * LDAP
    * Samba
    * Squid
    * Apache
    * Html
    * php
    * Python
    * Intrusion detection
    * Document Writing
    * Wireless Networking
