Information Security Specialis, Full Time

The University of Adelaide has one of the largest and most diverse IT environments within South Australia. Working with the Senior Information Security Specialist, you will be a key member of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining the security of the University's IT systems and resources.

You should have:

    * tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline, or relevant industry experience
    * knowledge of security technologies including antivirus, VPN, intrusion prevention systems and firewalls
    * experience and knowledge of a broad range of IT technologies including applications, operating systems, networks, scripting languages etc
    * the ability to vigilantly and thoroughly analyse data provided via a diverse range of technologies

Experience using Linux will be an advantage as a number of the IT Security systems are Linux based.

Salary: (HEO7) $53,378 - $59,885 per annum, plus an employer superannuation contribution of 17% applies.
