Linux Support Programmer, Full Time

Great opportunity for Linux enthusiast to utilise your detailed Linux knowledge and your C/C++ programming and problem solving skills.

Creative Computing is a long established boutique Software House that has a friendly and casual work environment. Based in Crows Nest, we develop, install and support Integrated Retail Business Systems.

Our systems use Linux servers and a large variety of LAN and WAN configurations, printers, workstation operating systems, etc.

We now have a great opportunity to join our small, friendly and co-operative Client Services Team. 

The main responsibilities of this position include:
· Timely and effective logging and resolution of client support issues
· some issues will require detailed Linux and/or some C/C++ knowledge to resolve
· system customisation commensurate with programming experience

You will require:
· Strong Linux installation and configuration experience
· C/C++ experience
· experience with transaction processing systems
· excellent oral and written communication skills
· demonstrable problem solving and fast learning skills 
· a strong customer focus
· a well organised and productive work ethic
· ability to work within a small highly motivated team
