UNIX Systems Administrator, Contract

<b>UNIX Systems Administrator</b>

We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Unix Systems Administrator. Working for one of Australia’s top 10 companies, you will have the opportunity to work within a large IT environment, in their Infrastructure team. This is a 6-12 month contract role with the potential to extend to a more permanent basis. 

<b>Essential:</b>

<ul><li> <b>At least 3 years</b> solid Unix Administration experience and further substantial experience working within an large scale IT environment. </li>

<li>Significant exposure to LINUX environment </li>

<li> Exposure to checkpoint firewall and an understanding of infrastructure security implications</li>

<li> Experience in IP configuration and administration</li>

<li>Previous experience using Red Hat solutions </li>

<li>Experience with Sun Solaris system administration </li>

<li> Project coordination capability</li>

<li> Demonstrated ability to deliver to tight deadlines under pressure.</li></ul>
