Senior Network Systems Enginee, Full Time

Our client, Animal Logic is a digital production company at the forefront of the international visual effects industry, for over 10 years it has proven itself across the areas of Television, Film & Digital Media.<br><br>

The Senior Network Systems Engineer is responsible for the technical management, construction and support of all aspects of network and core systems infrastructure services at Animal Logic.<br><br>

Primary Responsibilities:<br><br>

<li> Technical Leadership - Provide innovative and leading edge technical network and related solutions in support of the business’s needs.<br>
<li> Technical Project Management - Recognised ability to organise, schedule, report on and manage multiple simultaneous technical infrastructure projects.<br>
<li> Technical Infrastructure/Systems Design and Implementation - Responsible for the ongoing design, improvement, implementation and support of core network infrastructure, services and related systems.<br>
<li> Technical Support - Sound ability to investigate, document, comment on and resolve network and related technical issues received via escalation from the Support Engineering team.<br><br>

Person Specification:<br><br>

<li> Extensive experience in a similar role as described above<br>
<li> Experience with Red Hat Linux<br>
<li> Analytical and problem solving skills in requirements analysis and interpretation<br>
<li> Ability to innovate & share knowledge<br>
<li> Exp with networked architecture (firewalls, routers, switches, security, DNS, directory services, etc.)<br>
<li> Strong knowledge of networking & protocols within MS desktop environment<br>
<li> Expertise in implementing, configuring & supporting HP or Foundry switches<br>
<li> Expertise in implementing, configuring and supporting network security policies and configuration of security devices such as firewalls<br>
<li> Expertise in deploying, configuring and managing secure wireless networks<br>
<li> Superior communication skills, both verbal and written<br>
<li> Relationship management skills – Including internal, 3rd party contractors, Vendors and other related organisations<br>
<li> Degree qualified in a relevant discipline is highly desirable<br><br>
