Based in Sydney, the company now monitor thousands of services in ten countries across four continents, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with clients such as Telstra and BlueScope Steel.

You will be supervising a dynamic team of skilled engineers performing a range of technical duties for our Managed Service customers. 

Responsibilities include ensuring and assisting your team in providing proactive service to customers by responding to monitoring incidents, reconfiguring managed routers and firewalls, building new managed infrastructure both onsite and in our managed dedicated hosting facility, working in an efficient yet fun atmosphere with a very close-knit team and dealing with escalation of more complex issues.

Responsibility for the continued development and refinement of operational processes is also part of the role, leading the successful candidate to a senior role in the operational supervision of the company’s activities.

Specific Skills:

The successful applicant will ideally have a balance of all of the following skills:

Excellent technical knowledge of TCP/IP;
Linux Operating system administration skills (Debian, Redhat);
Windows (2000/2003 Server) administration skills; 
Experience with SME-level routing platforms a plus (e.g. Cisco);
Programming/scripting experience in UNIX Shell, Perl;
