Programmer - System Developer, Part Time

TITLE : Programmer - System Developer

TERM : 6 months full-time or 12 months part-time

LOCATION : Sydney (Surry Hills)

SYSTEM : Legal & Accounting Report Generator using Linux, Windows,  Kylix, Delphi, Postscript, WebSite. Developed in Unix/Linux over 23 years, with a recent Windows clone for clients.  Basic code is in Pascal and compiled with Kylix/Delphi.

PROJECT : To add finishing touches to present status of system, and  work closely with our principal to further develop the system.

COMPANY : Innovative long-established  leader in its field with a client base of some 3,500 professional firms. 

PROSPECTS : Longer term involvement re ongoing maintenance & development. We can consider a variety of arrangements to attract the right person, including an arrangement under which you can retain existing clients and service them from our premises  (e.g:  we have previously provided our programmer with an office base and services + a financial retainer in return for 2 or 3 days per week work for us).

QUALITIES SOUGHT : Self-starter with ability to manage a whole project in a small-medium company environment + good Australian english skills for an element of client tech support.
