Aim of the project: The aim of this project is to gather as many Indigenous women from along the east coast of Australia to participate in an online Indigenous womens possum skin cloak making workshop.
For over 40,000 years Indigenous women have gathered to create possum skin cloaks for either themselves, daughters, granddaughters or other female members of their nation/community.
We would like to attract as least 2 - 5 women from each nation/tribe to participate in this workshop.
Estimated cost breakdown of the project: Online Platform Costs - $5,000
Possum Skins & Materials - $15,000
Project team details: Our team will consists of Indigneous staff employed at  the Cultural Resilience Hub, Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education & Research, University of Technology Sydney:
