I've made myself clear on IRC, but I'll post here for the wider readership of
this list.
irc.linux.org.au links to OFTC, so it appears that LA's 'official' network is
actually OFTC and not Freenode. However, there are some drawbacks to
#linuxaus on Freenode. Firstly, some have commented that the community is not
as friendly over there. Secondly, the name of that channel is inconsistent
with the name of the channel that we are currently using, as well as the name
of this list.
Hence, I propose that we create a new #linux-aus channel on OFTC and move over
there. We can change the topic and leave a bot on the old channel to direct
the stragglers over to the new channel.
