hi Julien,

libsigc++ is awesome, I guess you are doing a good choice of signal library. One UI library that uses it extensivelly is gtkmm (http::www.gtkmm.org), you might want to check some examples out, it's quite easy.

hope this helps :)

Subject: [LC++]OT: sigc++ and object-IDs

Hi all!
  Again I have something a bit off topic.
  I'm still working on my UI-library. I wanna use libsigc++ to establish
communication between objects (buttons, sliders, text-entry-fields etc.) and
the driving program. Does anyone have a bit of experience with that? Does
anyone have an idea, how to best generate/create, store and submit object-IDs?
  Any help is very welcome again! ...but remember I'm still a rather stupid
programmer.
  Thanks for the good advise/help you gave me so far!
  Kindest regards
        Julien
